Very cool Beatles pictures

There is an excellent exhibit of photos on display at a gallery in Liverpool from a famous day in Beatles' photographic history. The band was photographed at random locations in London in 1968 by a selected group of photographers. Just one question: what in God's name was Paul trying to signify in those later pictures?
