Irish Central Bank governor Patrick Honohan in an interview with the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) [related story] --

FAZ: Why should German politicians and others in Europe believe that things have really changed in Ireland over the last few years? 

PH: Well I think they do. They see the extensive changes in personnel and those who interact with Irish officials and policymakers do see how….I think the hubris of the past has definitely gone.
